First things first- I don’t think I’ll be able to wear my “Santa’s Favorite Blonde” t-shirt this year.

I was all set on brightening my blonde a little and having a little bit of red put underneath and in my bangs. But on my way over to meet Nate’s Mom on Wednesday at her house to ride together to our appointment out of town, I was pulled over for the first time ever. Gasp. I know, right! (that was for you Jason) And no I wasn’t speeding or doing anything wrong.. it’s just.. apparently.. my tags are expired. Not just expired, but like 6 months expired. *scratches head* I guess we were kind of busy in JUNE and the little notice that comes in the mail was misplaced or lost in the whole address change. Not to mention this is my first car and I guess I sort of relied on Nate to keep up with that. This is further proving how terrible we are at being adults. Whoopss. You’ll be surprised to know that I didn’t cry, though! I did however start shaking uncontrollably like I was on crack… or needed some, maybe. The cop politely said, “It’s okay Dear, you aren’t going to jail…” Needless to say I decided I needed to do something really AWESOME to my hair to make myself feel better… or maybe to try and remove the “Dumb Blonde” sign on my forehead that I know that cop read OVER and OVER while he talked to me. SIGH.
Last night Ashley, Jason, and Brittany came over and we had so much fun! I was so happy to see Ash & Jason because it’s been a long time! There was a tiny misunderstanding about me not wanting to hang out with other friends of theirs (like at all) which totally isn’t the case so we kind of got busy with our different friend groups and didn’t see each other for a while. Glad we straightened that out! But I enjoyed having a small little group of us last night- we ate Steak & Shake, did some Wii dancing, played some Lips on Xbox, watched Home Alone 2 (I’ve never seen the Home Alone movies yall.. I KNOW, I KNOW! Don’t yell at me…), and ate baby cinnamon bundt cakes! Definitely a success in fun friend times!

…and fun times in the pantry..
I need to get back in my routine of daily blogging. I’ve been a little off the past few days and when I go to write I just want to squish it all into one entry! Like right now.. I want to tell you that I had such a yummy lunch. But I can’t really figure out how to smoothly transition into that.
SO anyway here’s a picture of my avocado, tomato, & provolone on toasted bread with a side of raw broccoli!

Today was the first day I washed my hair and styled it exactly how I wanted it. I’m loving it even more now! I promise my next entry will be more on point and less scattered! =)
